Velvet Rodeo

Velvet Rodeo

Leah Dana grew up in Swansboro, NC and has spent most of her career leading worship in contemporary services. She continues to serve as worship director in her home town where both she and Bryan sing every week. Leah's ultimate goal is to be an inspiration to young women that have faced adversity and to show them that they can be confident and believe in themselves to accomplish their dreams.

Bryan McCoury grew up in the mountains of North Carolina.  He comes from a family that has helped shape the history of bluegrass music. Bryan began his music career singing in Southern Gospel quartets, a music style that instilled his love of vocal harmonies.

Just like the name Velvet Rodeo suggests, Leah and Bryan combine two unique styles that come together to form a smooth harmonic country sound. Their music will remind you of a time when country music was raw and heartfelt, but with a smooth edge featuring tight harmonies and even stronger vocals.
